Aleathea Prough, of Calera, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at the age of 69. She was born on Monday, July 2, 1951 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas to Perry Willie and Rodelia Virginia (Williford) Prough.

She came to Durant, Oklahoma from Ponca City, Oklahoma in 1954. She was an Abstractor for Atoka Abstract. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Magnolia Congregation.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Perry Willie and Rodelia Virginia (Williford) Prough and a brother, Ronald Eugene Prough.

Survivors include her daughter Misty Mason and husband Zeb of Maiden, North Carolina; grandson Trevor Zane Mason of Maiden, North Carolina; special nephew Isaiah Dipol of Calera, Oklahoma; special niece Shanda Gunter of Princeton, Texas; brothers Michael L. Prough, Perry Charles Prough of Durant, Oklahoma; sisters Linda Dipol of Calera, Oklahoma, Shirley Dunlap of Bonham, Texas, Carla Booe of Durant, Oklahoma, Sherry Steigerwald of Columbus, Ohio and 2 grandchildren.

Cremation services were selected.
