Benjamin Keith Lamar of Mead, Oklahoma passed from this life on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at the age of 60. He was born on Thursday, January 2, 1964 in Durant, Oklahoma to Benjamin Dwain and Galetta Fay (Jarvis) Lamar.

He liked to build doll houses, take drives down country dirt roads and he was into music. He played the guitar and would jam out. He enjoyed life.

He was preceded in death by his brother Stanley Lamar; niece Tabitha Baker and grandparents.

Survivors include his fiancé Lori of the home; parents Ben Lamar of Mead, Oklahoma and Galetta Lamar of Durant, Oklahoma; sister Jaquitta Baker of Mead, Oklahoma; sister-in-law Becky Lamar of Calera, Oklahoma; nieces Zerah Baker of Mead, Oklahoma, Stormi Lamar of Calera, Oklahoma; nephews Kye Baker of Mead, Oklahoma, Zac Baker of Mead, Oklahoma; 3 great nieces Makayla Baker, Zoey Baker, Korra Owens; 1 great nephew Easton Wade as well as other extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Gordon Funeral Home in Durant, Oklahoma with Bro. Kerry Groce officiating.
