Beverly “Sue” Stair, of Durant, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at the age of 69. She was born on Wednesday, November 28, 1951 in Durant, Oklahoma to B.J. and Bobbie Jewel (Holt) Cooper.

She was a lifelong resident of Durant, Oklahoma. Her hobbies include working in the garden, flowers and shopping. She was the owner and operator of Sue’s Daycare for 25 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, B.J. and Mary Cooper, Bobbie Jewel and Guy Covington and her husband, Edward Lee Stair.

Survivors include sons Shane Hurst and wife Kari of Durant, Oklahoma, Michael Shawn Hurst of Durant, Oklahoma; granddaughters Sheriden Franks and husband Philip of Durant, Oklahoma, Cooper Shane Hurst of Durant, Oklahoma; great-grandson Preston Franks of Durant, Oklahoma; great-granddaughter Joslin Franks of Durant, Oklahoma; sisters Debbie Richardson of Sherman, Texas, Tammy Cross of Durant, Oklahoma, Sheila Garner of Durant, Oklahoma; brother Corey Cooper and wife Stephanie of Mead, Oklahoma as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and a special friend Betty “B.J.: Dillon.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date due to Covid.
