Bobby Gene Mitchell Jr. of Madill, Oklahoma passed from this life on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at the age of 61. He was born on Sunday, April 15, 1962 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Bob Gene Mitchell, Sr. and Dorothy (Styles) Mitchell.
He was a longtime resident of Madill, Oklahoma for the past 38 years. He enjoyed woodworking, metalworking and welding, fishing, taking walks with his wife and spending time with his grandchildren. He loved to watch westerns and Marvel movies. He also love to hang out with his son-in-law.
He is preceded in death by his parents Bob Gene Mitchell, Sr. and Dorothy (Styles) Mitchell; sons Jason Ornelas and Anthony Ornelas.
Survivors include his wife Tara Mitchell of Madill, Oklahoma; daughter Renee Ornelas-Salas and husband Jose; grandchildren Nico Ornelas-Salas of Las Vegas, Nevada, Sophia Ornelas-Salas of Las Vegas, Nevada, David Ornelas of Reno, Nevada, Bella Ornelas of Spring Creek, Nevada, Angel Ornelas of Enos, Oklahoma, Jesse Ornelas of Kingston, Oklahoma, Lina Salas of Las Vegas, Nevada, Joey Salas of Las Vegas, Nevada, Jessica Salas of Albuquerque, New Mexico; great grandchildren Kaden Tyler, Leah Ornelas, Bryleigh Ornelas; brother-in-law and best friend Lee Gilliland as well as many other extended family and friends.
A memorial dinner will be held at 5:00PM on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 16699 Corse Rd. Madill, Oklahoma.
