Carolyn Kay (Dunn) Row of Calera, Oklahoma passed from this life on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at the age of 80. She was born on Saturday, July 3, 1943 in Stuart, Oklahoma to Doyal J. and Ina Vee (Derryberry) Dunn.
She was a longtime resident of Calera, Oklahoma. She married Odis Row on September 23, 1961 at First Baptist Church in Calera, Oklahoma. She attended First Baptist Church of Calera and was a member for 50+ years.
She was a very loving wife, mother, and nannie. She loved to cook and decorate. She was known as the family mentor. She cared for and loved her family profusely.
She was preceded in death by her parents Doyal J. and Ina Vee (Derryberry) Dunn; sisters Guin Houser and Beverly Nugent.
Survivors include her husband Odis Row of Calera, Oklahoma; daughters Lisa Lake of Austin, Texas, Carrie Jones and husband Roy of Melissa, Texas; grandchildren Terri Odum and husband Jesse of Calera, Oklahoma, Patrick Lake and wife Brittany of Durant, Oklahoma; great grandchildren Connor Lockler of Calera, Oklahoma, Nevaeh Lake of Durant, Oklahoma; great-great grandson Luca Lockler of Calera, Oklahoma; aunt Joan Henslee of Denison, Texas; sister-in-law Fay Luke and husband Roger of Calera, Oklahoma; brother-in-law Charles Houser of Milburn, Oklahoma; nieces Cindy Parks and husband Gerald of Calera, Oklahoma, Becky Luke of Calera, Oklahoma, Erin Portman and husband Dustin of Perkins, Oklahoma; nephews Greg Burkhalter and wife Holly of Calera, Oklahoma, Frank Luke and wife Sandy of Knoxville, Iowa; great nieces Karla Speer and husband Chad of Calera, Oklahoma, Kelli Teafatiller and husband Rickey of Calera, Oklahoma; Brooke Sinor and husband Chance of Kemp, Oklahoma, Ali Burkhalter of Calera, Oklahoma; great nephews Hunter Burkhalter of Calera, Oklahoma; very special friends Bob Rogers, Larry and Margaret Conditt as well as other extended family and friends.
