Christopher Jay Welch, of Hollis, Oklahoma passed from this life on Sunday, November 13, 2022 at the age of 44. He was born on Monday, July 24, 1978 in Talihina, Oklahoma to Danny Jay and Valerie Gwen (Wigington) Welch.

He grew up in Silo, Oklahoma and he enjoyed fishing, cooking, welding, traveling and riding his Harley. He loved to spend time with his children and grandchildren.

Survivors include his sons Matthew Jay Welch of Hollis, Oklahoma, Marshal Tate Welch of Hollis, Oklahoma; daughters Kynnady Rose Welch of Hollis, Oklahoma, Jaylynn Brille Welch of San Diego, California, Krystal Denise Thomason and husband Jordan of Hollis, Oklahoma; grandchildren Layken Yvonne Frank of Hollis, Oklahoma, Charles Reid Thomason of Hollis, Oklahoma, Bentley David Thomason of Hollis, Oklahoma; parents Danny Jay and Valerie Gwen (Wigington) Welch of Silo, Oklahoma; brothers Chuck Welch and wife Carrie of Bonham, Texas, Kyle Welch and wife Jillian of Buena Park, California; dog Margaret Welch; paternal grandmother Ula Mae Foote and maternal grandmother Christie Despain as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
