Obituary for David "Mike" Louviere

David “Mike” Louviere, of Calera, Oklahoma passed from this life on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the age of 75. He was born on Tuesday, December 17, 1946 in Port Arthur, Texas to Neho and Eileen Joyce (May) Louviere.

He married Peggy Jane (Coker) Louviere on June 12, 1987 in Pearl River, Louisiana. He was a resident of Calera, Oklahoma since 2015. He served in the Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran.

He had knowledge of fixing things, mechanical and industrial. He could fix almost anything. He enjoyed going to car shows, taking care of family and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents Neho and Eileen Joyce (May) Louviere and brother Ted Louviere.

Survivors include his wife Peggy Jane (Coker) Louviere of the home; daughters Tammy Winn and wife Chelsey of Chalmette, Louisiana, Judy Marie Nelson of Marble Falls, Texas, Kathy Fern Cowen White and husband Michael of Leander, Texas; sons David Louviere, Jr. of Anadarko, Oklahoma, Charles “Sonny” Cowen, Jr. of Leander, Texas, Terry Bannach of Leander, Texas; grandchildren Nathan and wife Mela, Kaden, Robin, Nathan, Brian and wife Lynn, Andrew and wife Heather, Cathryn, Brianna, Cory, Aaron; great-grandchildren John, Wesley, Baylee, Troy, Mattea, Ashtyn, Joshua, Kaden, Anthony, August; great-great grandchild Paul Wesley; brothers Ronnie Louviere of Houston, Texas, R.T. Louviere of Church Point, Louisiana, Kenny Louviere of Church Point, Louisiana and sister Debbie Louviere of Los Angeles, California, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family and a host of friends.

Cremation services have been selected.
