Delphia Hutchins, of Durant, Oklahoma passed from this life on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at the age of 81. She was born on Monday, July 1, 1940 in Blanchard, Oklahoma to William Franklin and Molly Beatrice (Wright) Aplin.
She was a longtime resident of Durant, Oklahoma. She loved dogs and was a dedicated worker. She was a very giving and caring person. She would do anything for anyone and was always busy and on the go. Most of all she cherished time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Molly Aplin; husband Richard Hutchins; brothers Monroe, Dugan, James, Billy, Joe, Sammy, John and sisters Mary, Irene, and Flora.
Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Brown and husband Tommy of Durant, Oklahoma; granddaughter Chelsea Brown of Durant, Oklahoma; sister Lorene Mullins of Mead, Oklahoma as well as other extended family.
A family hour will be held from 6:00-8:00PM, Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Gordon Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00AM, Thursday, December 16, 2021 at the Church of Christ in Colbert, Oklahoma. A graveside service will follow at the Highland Cemetery in Durant, Oklahoma.
