Dennis Earl Brown, of Durant, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at the age of 55. He was born on Tuesday, August 27, 1963 in Chickasaw, Oklahoma to Earl Lee and Wanda “Neta” Afinata (Mitchell) Brown.

Dennis was a longtime resident of Durant, Oklahoma. He attended Irving High School and was of the Baptist faith. He was an artist and loved animals. Most of all he cherished his family and God.

He was preceded in death by his nephew Kelly Richard McDonald, Jr. and niece Cali Guthrie.

Survivors include his wife Dawn Brown of Lawton, Oklahoma; father Earl Lee Brown of Washington; mother Wanda “Neta” Afinita Knipe of Durant, Oklahoma; brothers David Brown of Minnesota, Craig Brown of Durant, Oklahoma, Larry Brown of Washington, Gary Brown Pennsylvania; sister Debbie Brown of Washington; nephews Brandon Brown of Washington, Cory Brown of Washington, Tanner Guthrie, Brett Guthrie, Josh Brown of Texas; nieces Kinsly McKinney of Washington, Kristen Shoemake of Oklahoma, Kali Guthrie, Brittney Pickett and aunt Betty McDaniel of California.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00PM, Friday, August 30, 2019 at Gordon Funeral Home.
