Obituary for Dion Lynore Martin
Dion Lynore Martin passed from this life on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at the age of 68. She was born on Sunday, February 13, 1955 in Denison, Texas to Cleo Arvil and Helen Louise (Lynch) Martin.
After graduating from Denison High School, she received a master’s degree from SOSU in early childcare development. She used that degree to serve the communities of Southern Oklahoma and Cloudcroft, New Mexico with her skilled teaching knowledge.
In her free time she enjoyed horseback riding, hiking, exploring, family camping trips and reading her bible. She was a Godly woman and a free spirit. Her last years were spent at her cabin on Blue River, which was her favorite place to be.
She is preceded in death by her parents Cleo Arvil and Helen Louise (Lynch) Martin; sons Aaron Campbell and Jonathan Ratcliff.
Survivors include her son Jeromy Williams of Kenefic, Oklahoma; daughter Cara Howell of Cartwright, Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 2 sisters as well as other extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at The Family Farm, 6258 Nails Crossing Rd. Caddo, Oklahoma.
