Obituary for Don Morris
Don Morris, of Caddo, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 in Denison, Texas at the age of 71. He was born on Tuesday, July 13, 1948 in Caddo, Oklahoma to Andrew Leslie and Anita Jean (Morrow) Morris.
Don was a longtime resident of Caddo. He was a retired Vocational Agricultural instructor. He taught at Anderson, Missouri, Nehawka, Nebraska and Bokchito, Oklahoma where he retired. He enjoyed quail hunting, ranching and farming. He was a member of the US National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Leslie and Anita Jean Morris.
Survivors include sons Chad Morris of Caddo, Oklahoma, Cooper Morris of Caddo, Oklahoma; daughter Andrea Thompson of Caddo, Oklahoma; brother Tommy Morris and wife Kim of Durant, Oklahoma; granddaughter Miranda Thompson of Calera, Oklahoma and great granddaughter Trinity Pugh of Platter, Oklahoma.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, November 16, 2019 at the Robinson Baptist Church, East of Caddo, Oklahoma on Robinson Rd. with Bro. Ross Phillips officiating. Marion Terrell, Tracy Rogers, Jacob Jones, Bradley Wilson, Kevin Nave and Benny Green will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Sam Smith, Joey Jones, Ben Teel and Brian Wilson.
Memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
