Doris Nixon (Jackson), of Utica, Oklahoma passed from this life on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at the age of 79. She was born on Monday, November 23, 1942 in Utica, Oklahoma to Oad and Ama Del (Jackson) Carr.
She enjoyed cooking and watching her grandchildren. She loved being a Mema and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Oad and Ama Del (Jackson) Carr; first husband of 40 years, Bill Jackson and her second husband of 18 years, Jim Nixon.
Survivors include her sons Jeff Jackson and wife Lisa, Joe Jackson and wife Sandra, Terry Jackson and wife Mara all of Durant, Oklahoma, as well as 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00AM, Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Utica Baptist Church at the corner of Martin and Harrison St. in Utica, Oklahoma with Bro. John Heath officiating.
