Obituary for Doris Railey
Doris Ann (Campbell) Railey, of Durant, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at the age of 85. She was born on Monday, July 22, 1935 in New Llano, Louisiana to George Anderson and Flora Mable (Young) Campbell.
She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, crossword puzzles and reading. She was a caregiver in nursing and caring for children in daycare. She loved her family and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ike T. Railey in April of 2000, grandson Eric Crocker on January 16, 1995 and a granddaughter Elizabeth Ward on February 7, 2020.
Survivors include her daughter Linda Karr and husband Robert of Bethany, Oklahoma; sons Charles Crocker, Carl Crocker and David Crocker all of Alabama; sister Sue DeRenard of California; sister-in-law Tracy Crocker; granddaughters Autum Karr of Durant, Oklahoma, Katherine Karr of Durant, Okalhoma; great-grandchildren Kali Ritterhouse, Lauren Ward, Madalyn Ward, Logan St.Clair, Emma St.Clair, Stephanie Crocker, Steve Crocker, Wendy Crocker, Candy Crocker and Jerry Crocker as well as numerous other extended family and friends.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, March 13, 2021 at the Highland Cemetery in Durant, Oklahoma.
