Obituary for Henry Lee Walker

Services for Henry Lee Walker, 75, will be (were) held at 2:00 PM, on December 24, 2022, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Ada, OK, with Ronald Boyd officiating. Henry was born to Robert and Belva Walker on October 31, 1947, in Waldron, AR. He passed away on December 15, 2022. When he was a small child, his family briefly lived at Hennepin, OK, then moved to Sulphur, OK, where he grew up and lived much of his life. He was the oldest of 3 children. He is survived by brothers Jeff Walker, of Healdton, OK, and Gary Walker and wife, Vicki, of Durant, OK. He is also survived by niece Tracy Walker, nephew Chad Walker, aunt Rhetta Chattham, several cousins and numerous friends.

Henry was easy going and always willing to help others whenever he could. He also enjoyed tinkering with electronics and mowing lawns. In the late 1990s, he moved to Ada, OK. On November 15, 2003, he was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and was dearly loved by his congregation in Ada. He faithfully attended congregation meetings—never missing one if he could help it. He also enjoyed participating in the Christian ministry and wanted others to know of the Bible's promises for the future. He often spoke of how he looked forward to someday seeing his parents again in the resurrection.

Although he is missed now, his family and friends eagerly look forward to seeing him again when he is resurrected. (Acts 24:15)
