Obituary for Janice "Jan" Stuber
Janice “Jan” Stuber, of Kingston, Oklahoma passed from this life on Friday, August 20, 2021 at the age of 67. She was born on Tuesday, October 6, 1953 in Eureka, Kansas to Floyd Wayne and Freda Marie (Phillips) Gibson.
Jan married Dennis Leroy Stuber on December, 24 1971 in Toronto, Kansas.
She was a resident of Kingston, Oklahoma, previously living in Sanger, Texas and Belle Plaine, Kansas. She enjoyed fishing and parasailing. Most of all she loved spending time with her family and especially her grandkids as they were her pride and joy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Floyd Wayne and Freda Marie (Phillips) Gibson and a grandson Braydn Hammond-Stuber.
Survivors include her husband Dennis of the home; son Dustin Stuber of Era, Texas; daughter Jennifer Hunter and husband John of Era, Texas; grandsons Dawson Stuber of Haysville, Kansas, Gabriel Hunter of Era, Texas, Dyson Stuber of Haysville, Kansas, Gage Hunter of Era, Texas; sisters Judy Lawrence of Iola, Kansas, Joy Tharp of Eldorado, Kansas; her beloved pets Tuffy and Tex as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and a host of friends.
A celebration of life will be a come and go gathering from 1:00-3:00PM, Saturday September 4, 2021 at the Belle Plaine Community Center in Belle Plaine, Kansas, 528 N. Merchant St. Belle Plaine, Kansas 67013.
A Texas celebration will be at 11:00AM, Saturday September 11 at the Era United Methodist Church in Era, Texas, 201 Bolivar Rd., Era, Texas 76238.
