Obituary for Jerry Hagood
Jerry Hagood, of Hendrix, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at the age of 77. He was born on Friday, September 10, 1943 in Denison, Texas to Eugene Raymond and Dollie Mae (Newton) Hagood.
Jerry had lived in the Hendrix community since 1991. He enjoyed fishing, cooking and gardening. He had served in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents Eugene Raymond and Dollie Mae (Newton) Hagood; sister Hazel Hagood and brothers Clyde Hagood and Robert Hagood.
Survivors include his daughters Tina Hagood of Pottsboro, Texas, Dawn Thornton Lauridsen of Wills Point, Texas, Stephanie Gill of Pottsboro, Texas; brother Larry Hagood of Hendrix, Oklahoma; sisters Peggy Hagood Kennedy of Denison, Texas, Marquerite Hagood Lynch of Denison, Texas; 8 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held 1:00PM, Monday, December 7, 2020 at the Yarnaby Cemetery in Yarnaby, Oklahoma.
