Obituary for Jimmy Ray Boatwright
Jimmy Ray Boatwright, of Kingston, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at the age of 62. He was born on Thursday, January 9, 1958 in Bonham, Texas to James Chesley Boatwright and Wanda Jo (Howard) Harrison.
Jimmy was a longtime resident of Kingston, Oklahoma. He enjoyed riding horses, drinking beer, working on lawn mowers and cars, listening to music and going to the lake. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.
He married Carolyn Elizabeth Boss on March 8, 1980 in Kingston, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Dewanda Boatwright.
Survivors include his wife Carolyn Boatwright of the home; son James Thomas Boatwright of Kingston, Oklahoma; daughters Christy Boatwright of Madill, Oklahoma, Shylie Don Boatwright of Kingston, Oklahoma; grandson Danny Pruitt; granddaughter Dawn Leann Sims and husband Allen of Durant, Oklahoma; brothers-in-law Thomas Boss of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Marion Baker of Ringling, Oklahoma; son-in-law Alan Balles of Madill, Oklahoma; sisters-in-law Dorothy Hall of Kingston, Oklahoma, Jeanne Bear of Muskogee, Oklahoma; niece Crystal Ann Hall of Lawyton, Oklahoma and uncle Bobby Gene Howard of Madill, Oklahoma.
Cremation services were selected.
