Joe Hicks of Caney, Oklahoma passed from this life on Friday, September 15, 2023 at the age of 52. He was born on Monday, December 14, 1970 in Durant, Oklahoma to Curtis Glynn and Patsy Ann (Booker) Hicks.
He enjoyed fishing, listening to music, dancing, singing karaoke and eating.
He was preceded in death by his father Curtis Glynn Hicks and grandparents.
Survivors include his mother Patsy Ann Hicks of Caddo, Oklahoma; brothers Johnny Hicks of Durant, Oklahoma, James Hicks and wife Jennifer of Bennington, Oklahoma; sisters Judy Stan and her husband Jamie of London, Ontario, Tonja Roberson of Durant, Oklahoma; daughters Lyndsey Hicks of Durant, Oklahoma, Haley Hicks of Durant, Oklahoma; sons DJ Hicks of Caney, Oklahoma, Austin Hicks of Caney, Oklahoma; grandchildren Noah, Sadie, Remmington as well as numerous other extended family and friends.
A family visitation will be held from 6:00 – 7:00PM on Monday, September 18, 2023 at Gordon Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at the Caddo Church of The Nazarene in Caddo, Oklahoma. A graveside service will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery in Caddo, Oklahoma.
