Johnnie Samuel Ogden, of Durant, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at the age of 78. He was born on Saturday, August 9, 1941 in Coal Hill, Arkansas to Jasper Lee and Cora Westerfield (Hanson) Ogden.
Johnnie married Ann Austin on March 5, 1963 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He enjoyed fishing, reading and mechanics. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jasper Lee and Cora Westerfield (Hanson) Ogden; daughter Janice Ogden on July 29, 2020 and 3 sisters.
Survivors include his wife Ann of the home; sons Robert Ogden of Durant, Oklahoma, John Ogden of Sherman, Texas, Billy Ogden of Durant, Oklahoma; daughter Lynn Bortsh of California; brothers Olin Ogden of Durant, Oklahoma, Ronnie Ogden of Durant, Oklahoma, Ollie Murrah of Durant, Oklahoma as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and other extended family.
Cremation services were selected.
