Larry James Skiles of Bokchito, Oklahoma passed from this life on Friday, September 1, 2023 at the age of 68. He was born on Tuesday, February 15, 1955 in Sioux City, Iowa to James Daryl and Shirley Ann (White) Skiles.

He proudly served in the US Navy during the Vietnam conflict.

He enjoyed fishing, working on trucks, going to the bar, and sitting on the front porch with the company of his nephew David Harendt.

He was preceded in death by his parents James Daryl and Shirley Ann (White) Skiles; sister Sherry Harendt and nephew Dustin Skiles.

Survivors include his brothers Lee Skiles and wife Sue of Kansas, Kenneth Skiles and wife Virginia of The Colony, Texas; sister Colleen Sellers and husband Craig of Austin, Texas; nieces Abby Schultz and husband Eric, Kaitlyn Skiles, Kelly Wise and husband Colton, Christina Tiffie and husband Colin; nephews David Harendt and wife Shauna, Carson Skiles, Kevin Skiles and wife Kristen, Jason Skiles and wife Cameron, Erik Sellars, Ryan Sellars, Kyle Sellars and wife Kristin Sellars as well as numerous other extended family and friends.

Cremation services have been selected.
