Linda Alice Hawkins of Caddo, Oklahoma passed from this life on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at the age of 79. She was born on Tuesday, August 8, 1944 in Atoka, Oklahoma to John Aaron and Eithel Mae Combs.
She was a longtime resident of Caddo, Oklahoma. She married James Stephen Hawkins on December 11, 1969 in Bonham, Texas.
She enjoyed cooking, gardening, fishing with her husband, camping, sewing, crocheting, taking road trips with her sisters. Her main focus was always spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents John Aaron and Eithel Mae Combs; brothers Wayne and wife Elaine, Charles Weldon Combs; sisters Susie McAnally and husband David Joe, Francis Beer and brother-in-law John Lacy.
Survivors include her husband Steve Hawkins of the home; daughter Sandra Krebbs and husband Dewayne of Caddo, Oklahoma; son Laith Hawkins and wife Dana Robinson of Caddo, Oklahoma; grandchildren Brandi Stevenson and husband Cameron of Caddo, Oklahoma, Clayton Krebbs of Caddo, Oklahoma, Daniel Hawkins and wife Karley of Wellston, Oklahoma, Allison Culley and husband Luke of Caney, Oklahoma, Bailey Hawkins and husband Michael of Rhode Island, Haylee Houston of Caddo, Oklahoma; great grandchildren Braxton, Wyatt, Myles, Colby, BlakeLynn, McKenzii; sisters Johnnie Lacy, Terry Simmons and husband Dan, Oma Combs, Mary Jo Combs, Deana Combrink and husband Michael; sister-in-law Audrey Combs as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
A viewing will be available from 8:00AM – 5:00PM on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Gordon Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at Gethsemane Cemetery in Caddo, Oklahoma with Bro. Tommy Green officiating.
