Obituary for Linda J. Mills
Linda J. Mills, of Durant, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Monday, January 25, 2021 at the age of 73. She was born on Saturday, September 20, 1947 in Denison, Texas to Walter and Thelma Pannell.
She married Keith Mills on October 20, 1972 in Paris, Texas.
She enjoyed coloring, painting, drawing, crafts, woodworking and sports. She was an avid artist and also enjoyed watching Jeopardy as she could correctly answer most questions. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Pannell; sister Mary Lou Glazier and brother-in-law Murray Glazier.
Survivors include her husband Keith Mills of the home; daughters Tammi Mills of Durant, Oklahoma, Kristi Holder of Durant, Oklahoma, Becka Flanagan and husband Kent, Jr.; grandsons Cody Mills and girlfriend Ileana Garcia of Durant, Oklahoma, Tony Ramos of Durant, Oklahoma, Jordan Mills and wife Montana of Calera, Oklahoma; granddaughters Kacey Ramos of Calera, Oklahoma, Samantha Clark and husband Keelan of Denison, Texas; great-grandchildren Julian, Rylan, Trinity, Tristan, Mia, Kiera, Tatum; brother-in-law Jack Mills and wife Vicki of Durant, Oklahoma; sister-in-law Barbara Smith and numerous nieces and nephews.
A family visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 PM on Friday January 29, 2021 at the Bible Baptist Church in Durant, Oklahoma just prior to the funeral service.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday January 29, 2021 at the Bible Baptist Church in Durant, Oklahoma with Bro. Mark Wesley officiating. A graveside service will follow at the Highland Cemetery in Durant, Oklahoma. Cody Mills, Kent Flanagan, Tony Ramos, Collin Mills, Evan Mills and Keelan Clark will serve as pallbearers.
