Obituary for Loyce Cubley

Loyce Cubley, of Durant, Oklahoma, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 8, 2021, at her daughter’s home in Calera, Oklahoma at the age of 70. She was born on Sunday, August 20, 1950 in Cobb, Oklahoma to Jessie “Jess” George and Dora Carolina (Richardson) Timberlake.

Loyce attended Cobb School and graduated in 1968. She lived a very active and happy life until she was affected by Alheizmers. Her life was full of love for everyone she knew as friends and family. She loved deeply and was very helpful to all she knew. She enjoyed traveling and having a good time. She never met a stranger and enjoyed helping people that she came across in her life. She was one of a kind. She lived life and had fun.

She was preceded in death by her parents Jess and Dora Timberlake; sisters Veiola Simmons, Stella Mullens; brother Richard Timberlake; brothers-in-law Charles Simmons and Billy Mullens.

Survivors include daughter Twana Avarado and husband Joel of Calera, Oklahoma; son Ronnie Eugene Cubley and wife Stormy of Armstrong, Oklahoma; twin sister Joyce Buchanan and husband Gary of Durant, Oklahoma; grandchildren Courtney Ortiz, Chrystal Staples Cabrera and husband Ciro, Cory Staples and Rebecca Staples, Alex Cubley, Sidney Cubley and Savannah Cubley as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
