Margie Matthews, of Mead, Oklahoma passed from this life on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at the age of 92. She was born on Tuesday, May 7, 1929 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to John and Susie (Golightly) Hobgood.
She was a longtime resident of Mead, Oklahoma. She enjoyed rum & coke, watching Steve Harvey on television, yard work, her cat and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Susie (Golightly) Hobgood and her 5 brothers and 1 sister.
Survivors include her granddaughters Sherri Bradshaw and husband Timmy of Owasso, Oklahoma, Terrie Bradshaw and husband John of Mannford, Oklahoma, grandsons Kevin Dean of Mead, Oklahoma, Tommy Moore of Mead, Oklahoma, great-granddaughters Belinda Taff and husband Michael of Mead, Oklahoma, Kira Shannon of Mannford, Oklahoma, Charlotte Moore of Mead, Oklahoma, Tiffany Buffalo of Owasso, Oklahoma; great-grandsons Joe Shannon of Eufaula, Oklahoma, John Shannon of Eufaula, Oklahoma, Timothy Bradshaw of Collinsville, Oklahoma, Kevin Bradshaw of Claremore, Oklahoma, Bradley Dean of Mead, Oklahoma, Randall Washburn of Collinsville, Oklahoma and sisters Janet Noble of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and June Revis of Arkansas.
