Mary Ann Shrum of Durant, Oklahoma passed from this life on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at the age of 49. She was born on Tuesday, August 13, 1974 in Texarkana, Texas to Ray Ellis and May Marie (Lindamood) Shrum.
She was a longtime resident of Durant, Oklahoma. She married Abe Brown on February 14, 1999 in Durant, Oklahoma.
She loved animals and enjoyed riding horses and barrel racing. She also enjoyed fishing and picking up pecans.
She was preceded in death by her father Ray Ellis Shrum and father-in-law Abraham Brown, Sr.
Survivors include her husband Abe Brown of Durant, Oklahoma; sons Michael Shrum of Durant, Oklahoma, Abe Brown, Jr. of Caddo, Oklahoma; mother May Shrum of Madill, Oklahoma; sister Juanita Pender of Madill, Oklahoma; brothers Jesse Shrum and wife Paula of Madill, Oklahoma, Arthur Shrum of Lexington, Oklahoma; grandchildren Raelynn, Layla; nieces and nephews Sarah Higgins and husband Roger of Barnhart Texas, Barry Pender and wife Shawntina of Madill, Oklahoma, Eric Shrum of Madill, Oklahoma; great nephews Kason, Kolton; great niece Kyra; mother-in-law Shiela Kowhen as well as numerous loving friends and fur babies.
The family will have a memorial service that will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 3251 Cumberland Vine Road in Madill, Oklahoma.
Cremation services have been selected.
