Melissa “Missy” Mayo, of Durant, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Monday, July 27, 2020 at the age of 54. She was born on Friday, October 29,1965 in Waco, Texas.

She was one of the most caring and loving soul that walked the planet. She only saw the positive in everyone she met. She loved her entire family and they meant the world to her. She had a strong faith and was passionate about Christ.

She married Clint Mayo in Winsboro, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clint Mayo; mother Linda Davis and sister Melinda Sue Butler.
Survivors include her son Donovan Vaughan and wife Lexi of Hudson, Florida; daughter Brittany Vaughan; brother Howard O’Bryan of Greenville, Texas; step-father Fred Ridings of Tyler, Texas; step-daughters Felicia Mayo and Martie Mayo both of Minola, Texas; grandchildren Taloa Dodson, Kolten Brewer; in-laws Curtis and Wanda Mayo all of Durant, Oklahoma and many adopted family and friends.

A family visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00PM, Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Gordon Funeral Home.

Cremation services were selected.
