Noble Blankenship, of Caney, Oklahoma passed from this life on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at the age of 86. She was born on Wednesday, July 3, 1935 in Rock Creek, Oklahoma to Walter Byron and Ruby Elizabeth (Willeby) Yates.
She was a longtime resident of Caney, Oklahoma and married Finace Blankenship on May 4, 1957 in Reno, Nevada.
She was a good seamstress and enjoyed traveling, road trips, puzzle books, reading, watching westerns and spending time with family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Walter Byron and Ruby Elizabeth (Willeby) Yates; husband Finace Blankenship; brother Bobby Yates and sister Sybil Adams.
Survivors include her son Richard Blankenship and wife Helen of Salem, Oregon; daughter Christina Hamm and husband Rick of Oktaha, Oklahoma; granddaughters Danielle Blankenship of Durant, Oklahoma, Riley Hamm of Tulsa, Oklahoma; brother Byron Yates of Caney, Oklahoma; sisters Pam Nutter of Caney, Oklahoma, and Juana Grubbs of Shawnee, Oklahoma as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00AM on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at the Monterey Chapel; 224 S. 9th St. in Durant, Oklahoma, and a graveside service will follow at the Summerfield Cemetery in Summerfield, Oklahoma.
