Obituary for Paul Knuppel
Paul Knuppel, of Pottsboro, Texas, passed from this life on Thursday, May 27th, 2021 at the age of 88. He was born on Monday, September 12th, 1932, in Queens, New York to Matthew and Marjorie Jean (Protzman) Knuppel.
Paul had a long career in the United States Air Force; he served in Vietnam and was deployed for many years in Germany, finally retiring when Perrin Air Force Base closed in Denison, Texas in 1971. He worked in the gulf coast oil fields as well as Lake Texoma property management. He loved his dogs, fast cars, a great steak, and his daughters and granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by parents, Matthew and Majorie and his son Brent.
Survivors include brother Ron Knuppel of Cocoa Beach, Florida; three daughters Carly Knuppel (and Michael Ellis) of Cartwright, Oklahoma, Monica (and Kevin) Brindza of McKinney, Texas, and Kim Kindle of Belton, Missouri; granddaughters Miranda Brindza, Erin Brindza, and Chelsea Kindle; and other extended family.
A memorial service will be held from 10:00-11:30am, Saturday, June 5th, at the Church of the Nazarene, 2710 W Crawford St., Denison, Texas 75020 with Bro. Brent Smith officiating.
