Raymond Jones, of Durant, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at the age of 69. He was born on Friday, November 30, 1951 in Bakersfield, California to Elmer Lee and Mildred Faye (Tyree) Jones.
He married Elizabeth (Massey) Jones on March 6, 1981 in Rockwall, Texas.
He came to Oklahoma in December of 1993 from Garland, Texas. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and leatherwork. He was a member of the US Army.
He was preceded in death by His parents, Elmer Lee and Mildred Faye (Tyree) Jones and sisters Janie (Jones) Cross and Judy Jones.
Survivors include his wife Elizabeth Jones of the home; daughters Kimberly Blackwell of Montgomery, Texas, Teah Jones of Princeton, California; brothers Tom Jones of Greenville, Texas, Johnny Jones of Calusa, California, Odell Headrick of Durant, Oklahoma, 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Cremation services were selected.
