Rhonda Justine Melcher of Durant, Oklahoma passed from this life on Sunday, April 14, 2024 in Durant, Oklahoma at the age of 59. She was born on Monday, October 12, 1964 in Dallas, Texas to Gerald Dean and Norma Sue (Hite) Billingsley.
She was a longtime resident of Durant, Oklahoma, since 2002. She married William Jay Melcher on June 16, 1998 in Williamsburg, Virginia, which is where they celebrated her parents 50th Wedding Anniversary.
She was a great artist and enjoyed artwork as well as being creative with floral design and cake decorating. She was a pool shark and enjoyed playing darts, fishing, and listening to music.
She was preceded in death by her father Gerald Dean Billingsley.
Survivors include her husband Bill Melcher of Durant, Oklahoma; children Bailey Billingsley of Houston, Texas, Nathaniel Melcher of Durant, Oklahoma; stepchildren Rachel Melcher of Florida, Arthur Bradley Melcher of Florida; grandchildren Harper Carpenter, Nina Melcher, Noah Robertson, Temperance Bruner, Landen Bruner; mother Sue Billingsley as well as other extended family and friends.
Cremation services have been selected.
