Obituary for Ronald West
Ron “Phantom” West, of Bache, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the age of 64. He was born on Thursday, August 9, 1956 in Dallas, Texas to William Donald and Agnes Mae (Vaughn) West.
He married Maryellen Thompson on August 13, 1996 in Blue Ridge, Texas.
He enjoyed drinking coffee with friends and family, tinkering, CB radio, philosophy, economics and telling jokes. He was great at giving advice and lending a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He never met a stranger and was dearly loved by his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents William Donald and Agnes Mae (Vaughn) West and a brother Roy O’Neal West.
Survivors include his wife Maryellen West of the home; daughters Amanda Lee Fox and husband Jerry of Boswell, Oklahoma, Elizabeth Marie Bridges and husband Windy of Cartwright, Oklahoma, Sharee Anne Shaffer and husband Shawn of Caddo, Oklahoma; son Ronald Lee West, Jr. and wife Amanda of Dorchester, Texas, Charlie Junior Ward and wife Stevi of Caney, Oklahoma; brother Herbert West of Mesquite, Texas; grandchildren Adam, Makala, Allie, Konnor, Donavin, Kallista, Trinity, Gavin, Colt, Mackenzie, Dabney, Havin, Marshall, Jaxon, Miah, Devin, Autumn, Carson, Christopher, Hayden, Paytin, Dallas, Autumn; great-grandchildren Blakely, Lealah; nieces and nephews Susan, William, Tammy, Jerry, Melissa as well as numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family.
A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
