Roscoe “Carter” Lake, of Durant, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Monday, September 30, 2019 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 44 days. He was born on Saturday, August 17, 2019 in Durant, Oklahoma to Patrick Wayne and Brittany Marie (Marsh) Lake.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Jessica Inman.
Survivors include parents Patrick and Brittany Lake of the home; sister Nevaeh Lake of the home; paternal great-grandparents Roscoe and Carolyn Row of Calera, Oklahoma; maternal great grandfather Alan Caldwell of Armstrong, Oklahoma, maternal great grandmother Kathy Hays of Armstrong, Oklahoma; maternal great-great-grandmother JoAnn Howard of Durant, Oklahoma; Uncle Connor Lockler of Calera, Oklahoma; aunts Terri Pratt of Calera, Oklahoma and Brandi Baumann of Virginia; great aunts Carrie Jones of Calera, Oklahoma and Victoria Hays of Sherman, Texas.
A family hour will be held at Gordon Funeral Home on Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 6:00-7:00PM.
A funeral service will be 10:00AM Friday, October 4, 2019 at the Monterey Chapel, 224 S. 9th in Durant, with Rev. Mike Manaugh officiating. A graveside service will follow at the pavillion in the Highland Cemetery in Durant.
