Obituary for Rusty "Bubba" Fenske
Rusty “Bubba” Fenske of Kingston, Oklahoma passed from this life on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at the age of 63. He was born on Wednesday, November 2, 1960 in Sulphur, Oklahoma to Jerry Leroy and Sonja Kay (Walker) Fenske.
He has lived in the Kingston area since 2010, after retiring from a career at Firestone corporation.
On December 13, 2014 he married Michelle Renee (McKinney) Fenske in Durant, Oklahoma, but not before marrying her the first time at age 7 with a ring from a Cracker Jack box.
He enjoyed crafts, sports, the outdoors, fishing, mowing, working in the yard, fixing things. In his younger years, he also enjoyed dancing. He loved being at the lake. He was a kind man and would help those in need. He was a giver and liked to give gifts to others.
He was preceded in death by his father Jerry Leroy Fenske; grandparents Roy L. Walker, Vera E. Walker, Frieda Fenske and Robert Fenske.
Survivors include his wife Michelle Fenske; mother Sonja Fenske; sister Katrena Blackerby and husband Ken; children Sarah Fenske, Stephen Fenske, Jeffery Fenske; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other extended family and friends.
Cremation services have been selected.
A celebration of life ceremony will be scheduled for the spring of 2024 at Lake Texoma area and announcements to family and friends will be forthcoming.
