Obituary for Sherry Harendt
Sherry Harendt, of Bokchito, Oklahoma passed from this life on Monday, July 25, 2022 at the age of 65. She was born on Tuesday, December 25, 1956 in Austin, Texas to James “Jim” Daryl and Shirley Ann (White) Skiles.
She married David Harendt on October 25, 1975 in Mesquite, Texas. She was a resident of Bokchito, Oklahoma for the past ten years and was a member of the Caddo Church of Christ.
She enjoyed sewing, painting and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jim and Shirley Skiles and her husband David Harendt.
Survivors include her daughter Christina and husband Colin Tiffie of Durant, Oklahoma; son David Harendt and wife Shauna of Bokchito, Oklahoma; grandsons Jackson Tiffie of Durant, Oklahoma, Conley Tiffie of Durant, Oklahoma, Jacob Harendt of Bokchito, Oklahoma, Atlee Harendt of Bokchito, Oklahoma; granddaughters Charley Jo Tiffie of Durant, Oklahoma, Olivia Harendt of Bokchito, Oklahoma, Dylan Keeler of Bokchito, Oklahoma, Hadli Keeler of Bokchito, Oklahoma; brothers Larry Skiles, Lee Skiles and wife Sue, K.C. Skiles and wife Virginia; sister Colleen Sellars and husband Craig; sister-in-law Wynona Russell as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
A funeral will be held at 10:00AM, Thursday, July 28, 2022 at the Monterey Chapel in Durant, Oklahoma. A graveside service will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery in Caddo, Oklahoma with Bro. Jimmy Stegall officiating. Jacob Harendt, Jackson Tiffie, Conley Tiffie, Jacob Jenkins, Calvin Tiffie and Colton White will serve as pallbearers.
