Obituary for Thomas D. Hobbs
Thomas D. Hobbs, of Calera, Oklahoma passed from this life on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at the age of 93. He was born on Monday, November 10, 1928 in De Queen, Arkansas to Dewey Arthur and Mamie Julia (Phillips) Hobbs.
He married Edith Joan (McCreary) Hobbs on May 13, 1950 in Denison, Texas. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp. He worked in the oil field industry and was a former owner of T&C Tank Rental.
He was preceded in death by his son Dale Douglas Hobbs.
Survivors include his wife Edith Joan (McCreary) Hobbs of Calera, Oklahoma; son Thomas “Greg” Hobbs of Calera, Oklahoma as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
A cremation service has been selected.
