WE ARE THE LOCALLY OWNED OWNER-OPERATED FUNERAL HOME IN DURANT TAKING CARE OF OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY OF OUR HOMETOWN COMMUNITY.
I have a long history serving my friends and family in Durant and Bryan County in the funeral business. I started in the funeral profession at Dalton-Holmes Funeral home in Durant in 1987. I worked as a licensed funeral director and embalmer and later owner of Dalton-Holmes Funeral Home and continued serving and providing personal and caring service to the people in my hometown community for a total of 23 years.
I grew up in Bryan County and have a desire to care for my friends and family in their time of need with a genuine and caring heart. For this reason I decided to return to Durant to open Gordon Funeral Home. I am proud to be the only locally owned owner-operated funeral service in Durant. We are not owned by someone who doesn't live in our community or has groups of funeral homes and interest elsewhere. We are taking care of our hometown people.
