Larry Coffey of Durant passed from this life on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at the age of 67. He was born on Friday, August 24, 1951 in Hinton, OK, to Russell William Coffey and Bernadine (Hawkins) Glenn.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and father, Russell Coffey.
He is survived by his sons, Ryan Coffey of Edmond, OK and Randal Coffey and Tricia Aken of Edmond, OK; parents, Donald and Bernadine Glenn of Durant, OK; Brother Wade Coffey and wife Cheryl of Stillwater, OK; Sisters Janet K. McCauley and husband Jim of Edmond, OK, Donna Loper and husband Ed of Durant, OK; granddaughters Lex Coffey of Bokchito, OK, Maddie Williams of Bokchito, OK; step-mother Patricia Coffey of Hinton, OK; the boys mother Barbara Coffey; Lifelong best friends, Randy Bennett, Alan McAskill, Dale Faulk, and a host of family and friends.
Larry was a hardworking man. He enjoyed making walking sticks. He was a baseball coach, track coach and an avid OU fan. Most of all he loved his family.
Stan Thomasson, Aaron Crowell, Timmy Johnson, and Billy Pickett will be officiating. Timmy Johnson, Aaron Crowell, Wyatt Coffey, Laramie Coffey, Kristen Barrante, Brad Loper, and Lindsey McCarty will be serving as honorary pallbearers. A funeral service will be held 10:00 am Saturday, September 29, 2018 at the Bell Tower Chapel, 218 N. 3rd, Durant, OK, 74701.
